College Groups
Until we have education programming of our own, we’ll be opening our doors in collaboration with existing education programs. We’ve collaborated with several major universities in New Haven, and we look forward to working with all of them. Scroll down to learn more about our college-level academic offerings. Lost in New Haven’s permanent collection includes tens of thousands of historical artifacts, primary source documents, photos, rare maps, and other scholarly assets. While we do not yet have a digitized archive, we invite New Haven-based scholars to explore the space during our Saturday tours and apply any knowledge gained to their research. During the next several phases of our opening, digital archives will be established and open hours will be expanded. Until then, please contact us with any specific questions.

Students from Yale Art School have come to study our design model. Students from Yale School of Architecture have come to study New Haven’s history of urban development. SCSU Arts Administration students have come to learn how museums operate. We tailor tours of the collection and the space to the learning goals of each university group. What can we help you learn?

Lost in New Haven has hosted college-aged students from Yale, Southern Connecticut State University, The Yale China Association, and extracurricular drawing groups. While we don’t yet have our own internship or education programming, we have accommodated class projects, research initiatives, and internship placements from external organizations. If you have an idea to bridge our museum with your university, class, or project, please contact us using the form below.
